We all know it doesnt take much to turn on the waterworks when you are riddled with pregnancy hormones. So its no surprise when my suddenly Mini-Picasso son came home from preschool with this offering last week, it made me a bit weepy…
Yes, there we are, almost to scale (except sadly my legs arent quite so long!) me complete with a happy bubba resting there in my tummy!
I’ve entitled it ‘Life Imitating Art’ and hope that it serves as a good sign that he’s super excited to meet his new sibling in a few shorts weeks!

That one is a keeper for sure. Just so touching.

So so cute, I’d weep too.

That’s so precious. I’m sure I don’t need to tell you to keep that drawing because you will treasure it even more in the years to come xxx
I love a little bit of art that lets me see into their minds – I always make sure I ask them ‘Whats the picture of’ and then write down their answer verbatim. Its gorgeous to look back on….best of luck for the next little while. Calm and quick birth vibes x
Ahhh so cute! The baby in the belly adorable!
I keep asking my 1 1/2 year old ‘Where’s the baby?” and he lifts up his shirt and points at his tummy, sooo cute!! Cracks me up every time!!
OH that is just so adorable! Definitely deserves to be in a frame. First picture of bubs xx (visiting from FYBF) xx
Oh bless, Donna! I would’ve been crying buckets!
What a beautiful boy you’re blessed with! 🙂 x
That is totally divine – thanks for sharing 🙂 Emily
