Let’s be honest, trying to make yourself stand out high above your 117, 880 competitors* can seem like an insurmountable obstacle. But what if I was to tell you there was a way to differentiate yourself from your fellow real estate agents and shine brightly amongst a (rather large!) crowd?
The key is in the copy, and the first impression it makes on a potential buyer. You see, it only takes three seconds for this impression to form, so it is crucial that your listing shines! If you can’t give your prospects a compelling reason to stick around in those first three seconds, they’ll click out and possibly move on to another listing, while yours continues to languish online. If the listing is hard to read, fails to flow or and does not make a person feel they MUST see that property now then it’s unlikely to convert visitors into potential buyers.
The good news is it is very simple to make a killer first impression and to reel in your prospective buyers. The text is critical in convincing your potential buyers to come and have a look in person. You want to engage with the reader, and make a listing sound tantalising, alluring and inviting… You want to captivate the reader’s attention that makes that house a MUST SEE!
Here’s some of my recent real estate copywriting below:
And should you still need convincing of my dedication and skill, here’s what Paul Witney, Principal of LJ Hooker Bateau Bay, has had to say about our experience working together thus far:
We recently contracted Donna to write copy for some of our major advertising campaigns. This not something we have considered in the past as we have felt this is something we can do ourselves, after working with Donna on a handful of our campaigns, I wish I had used her expertise earlier! Donna has been fantastic and feedback from my vendors have been extremely positive. In our short time working together I have found the whole experience to be really easy, friendly, professional and with super quick turnaround. Her advertising copy has been spot on, direct to the appropriate target market, fresh with ideas and highlighting the major selling points and emotional benefits, and professionally finished maximising potential buyer interest. Donna has been a wonderful addition to the marketing services we can offer our clients and I highly recommend her services.
It takes time to write good copy and many agent’s are simply so busy selling that this part of their job can often be neglected. As someone who is as passionate about prose as I am property, allow me to help you free up your valuable time so you can concentrate on what you do best. Make the decision to differentiate yourself from your vast number of competitors and contact me today on firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss how I can help you make your property listings shine!
