Shopping – so much to do, so little time seems to be the theme in this house. And I don’t know about you, but any form of a retail expedition with a toddler in tow ought to be one to rival a military operation. You get in, get your goods, and get out.
Imagine then if your local shopping centre had an app that could enable you to even further pre-plan this precisely premeditated procedure?
Thankfully, your local Stocklands Shopping Centres has just joined in the app fun, launching the “My Stockland”.
Under the guise of “legitimate work research” I was more than happy to put my hand up to head off to my local Stockland Shopping Centre to road test the app.
And I must say that before I’d even left the comfort of my own home, I was hooked. Being someone who has a habit of hand writing a list and leaving it lying on the kitchen bench means that the “Shopping List” functionality of the My Stock land App is a GODSEND!
I’m also a fan of the Discount calculator as well – punching in the relevant information instead of standing there screwing up my face as I try and work out how much I’ll save at 35% off an item for this unmathematical mind saves not only time but also the public having to put up with aforementioned scary face.
Some of the other key features include:
- GPS positioning map to find your local Stockland Centre
- Centre Maps with telephone numbers
- Centre information
- Centre news
This handy little helper has been designed to make your shopping experience at Stockland easier than ever before. Available free for iPhone, the app is packed with great features and helpful information. It can be downloaded for free from the app store here –( http://bit.ly/HOHxiW )
And because the people at Stockland want you to enjoy your shopping experience as much as I they are offering a $100 Stockland Gift Card to one lucky NappyDaze reader! All you need to do is ensure you are follwing my blog and leave me a comment below telling me what your favourite shop is in your local Stockland.
Disclaimer: While I was not paid to do this review I was kindly offered a Stockland Gift Card to help me on my road test. All opinions remain my own..

I love my local stockland!! I visit it weekly just to get the lil ones out of the house when its raining… I love Katies – it has helped me find some great affordable clothes while losing my babyweight *20 kilos!*
I follow you!!! 🙂
Awesome hey. I have the app as well and I think it’s a brilliant idea. It would actually make me think about heading to Stocklands more often. 🙂
Thanks for this post and for the heads up on the app. I wasn’t aware of it even though I live in a developement that is part of the stocklands shopping centre. I’m looking forward to trying out the app. It will definitely come in handy given that I am at Stocklands most day. I have a 1 year old son and he likes the playland. We tend to spend a lot of time at Malibu Grill which is one of the cafes, so I guess that would have to be my favourite shop.
My favourite shop at my local stockland is target, always a bargain to be had and something for everyone in the family!
Sweet Temptations Cafe…..the most magnificent Pastries and coffee. Most of all it has the best wallpaper in the whole shopping centre…
Had the app for a while, last month it showed me something I never knew existed. They ran a competition which used GPS to claim gift vouchers. And showed the positioning of other people in the comp chasing vouchers. Difficult to resist if a voucher was just across the road at a local park! Would sit and watch icons converging on voucher markers. Hilarity ensued as you’d see people circling like voucher vultures! Fave shop at my local is the Sushi Bar brought this ex City Chick a saving grace!
It would either be Target or BNT for me. Target for bargains and BNT coz I love underwear. 🙂
My favourite shop would be Gloria Jean’s Coffee- bit of a coffee fan here!
I’m following your blog (Jessie Hay)
Michel’s Patisserie is my favourite – coffee and cake and somewhere to rest my feet after a retail therapy.
FB follower as Chon Ky. My favourite stores at my local Stockland are Big W, Bras & Things and Gloria Jeans.
My favourite Stockland store is JB Hi-Fi. We can get music and DVDs for the adults and the kids in one place. Shorter shopping times means fewer “I’m bored” comments.
I follow you via email.
I’m about to head over to my local stocklands now. My favourite store is Temt. I love their stylish clothes for an affordable price.
I am following by email. And Stocklands is my second home. I love shopping in Target I have to say then there’s Sussans and it goes on and on. Came to your blog via Trish.
There’s no Stocklands where I live at the moment, but there is in the town where I grew up, so everytime I go back there, I go a little crazy shopping with my Mum and sister!! So to just pick one favourite store..?! Tricky 🙂 I love Temt though, I can pick up a whole lot of things and update my wardrobe really cheaply.
